Wings of Heaven offers white dove releases for funerals and memorials. Our service is available in Kentucky including small towns and communities around the cities of Henderson, Owensboro, KY and Louisville, Kentucky. In southern Indiana our white doves are available in Evansville, Indiana, New Albany, IN Princeton, Indiana and other surrounding towns. Feel free to check out our service area map for more details.
Below are some of the standard package options we offer for releasing of the doves for funerals or memorials. However, we will gladly customize a release package to accomadate your wishes or beliefs.
The Trinity
Three white doves are released representing the father, son, and Holy Spirit. Separately a single white dove is released by a family member. The single dove, once released, will fly to and join the other parting doves. This symbolizes the departed ones spirit making that final journey home.
Final Journey Home (Angel Release)
A single white dove is released following a flock of white dove "Angels" to escort the single "spirit" dove home.
All releases will have personalized readings read explaining the significance of the dove release.
